Transmission Channel Plate Leak Test

In this application, GM transmission channel plates are mass flow leak tested and marked at a rate of 90 pph.

Accepted parts are automatically ink marked.
Parts are automatically ejected from the fixture at the end of the test to minimize cycle time.

Test Sequence
The following tests are automatically sequenced and performed at 15 psig.:
2 plug locations to a 1200 sccm limit
4 ball seats to a 1200 sccm limit
1 channel plate gross leak test to a 1200 sccm limit
5 color channel groups each to a 1200 cc./mm. limit
48 individual channels with leak location to a 1200 sccm limit (only on operator demand)
M-side and J-side internal/external tests to a 30 sccm limit
